"Exploring The Relationship Between Perceived Support, Empowerment, Commitment, And Turnover Intention In The Lebanese Smes Sector: The Mediating Effect Of Employee Engagement"

Abstract
This study explores the relationship between perceived organizational support (POS), employee empowerment (EE), organizational commitment (OC), turnover intention (TI), and employee engagement (EEG) in the Lebanese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) sector. The study surveyed 390 employees from SMEs in Lebanon using a structured questionnaire and analyzed the data using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results suggest that POS, EE, and OC have a significant negative relationship with TI, and EEG mediates this relationship. The study highlights the importance of creating a supportive work environment that empowers employees and fosters commitment to the organization, leading to increased employee engagement and reduced turnover intention in the Lebanese SMEs sector. These findings have practical implications for SMEs in Lebanon looking to improve employee retention and create a more productive workforce.
