Abstract

This article explores the potential of AI technologies in enhancing accessibility and inclusivity in Open and Distance Learning (ODL), making education more accessible to individuals with disabilities. With the constant advancement of technology, AI-based solutions have emerged as promising tools to tackle the challenges faced by people with disabilities in accessing education. The article delves into a variety of AI technologies, such as natural language processing, computer vision, and machine learning, and their practical applications in ODL, including personalized learning experiences, adaptive assessments, and assistive interventions. Additionally, it discusses the benefits, obstacles, and ethical considerations associated with integrating AI into ODL for individuals with disabilities.
